Pricing questions
How are patients, visits, samples and tests counted?
PathLab Software plan limits count patient visits: one registration at the front desk is one visit, however many tubes, tests or panels it has. A patient is a person (unlimited records), a sample is one barcoded accession, and a test is one ordered test or panel line; samples and tests are unlimited. CBC, HbA1c and a lipid profile on one visit count as 1 visit and 3 tests. If you pass 300 (Basic) or 1,500 (Pro) visits in a month, nothing stops working; the app shows a notice and we suggest the next plan.
What does a typical monthly bill look like?
Example 1: a single lab on Basic with 260 visits in a month pays ₹1,999 + 18% GST (₹359.82) = ₹2,358.82, with no usage charges because WhatsApp reports are included. Example 2: a lab on Pro with two analyzers and 1,420 visits pays ₹3,999 + ₹719.82 GST = ₹4,718.82; analyzer interfacing, critical-value calls and doctor-desk messages add ₹0. A month at 1,600 visits on Pro is still ₹4,718.82; we would suggest Chain if it continued.
Is analyzer interfacing really included?
Yes. PathLab Software includes analyzer interfacing in the Pro (₹3,999) and Chain (₹7,999) plans for as many machines as you own, with no per-analyzer or per-connection fee, including on-site validation with known samples at go-live. The Basic plan does not include interfacing; results are typed in.
Can I cancel PathLab Software any time?
Yes. PathLab Software plans run month to month with no annual contract. Cancel from Billing settings and your plan ends at the close of the billing month. We export your patients, results and signed reports on request, before or within 30 days after you cancel, at no charge.
Is GST included in the price?
No. PathLab Software plan prices exclude 18% GST, so Pro costs ₹3,999 plus ₹719.82 GST a month. A GST invoice is issued for every payment, and your own GSTIN appears on the invoices PathLab Software generates for your patients and corporate clients.
Is there a free trial of PathLab Software?
Yes. Every PathLab Software plan starts with a 14-day free trial with no card required, and setup plus data migration are free on every plan. You can also book a free setup call, where we load your test master and plan your analyzer connections before you decide.
Are there extra charges for WhatsApp messages?
No. PathLab Software includes WhatsApp report delivery in every plan, so there is no per-report or per-message charge for normal report sending. Getting your lab's own WhatsApp Business number verified and the report templates approved is done free during setup.
